Leslie Knope (Amy Poehler) runs for a seat on Pawnee's city council in Season 4, but she'll need every bit of help she can get from her friends to beat her opponent, local golden boy Bobby Newport (recurring guest star Paul Rudd). Even worse, Leslie knows that she has to break up with Ben Wyatt (Adam Scott) or risk a scandal, since government coworkers aren't allowed to date. Meanwhile, Tom Haverford (Aziz Ansari) leaves the parks department to found an outlandish entertainment company, but the day-to-day responsibility of running a business soon turns his dream job into a disaster.
